CONFIGURING

Configuring administrative settings for deploying Eclipse-based plug-ins
You can centrally control various aspects of the Eclipse-based plug-ins that you deploy to IBM® Notes® and non-Notes users. For example, you can control server name and address as well as authentication type for embedded or stand-alone IBM Connections clients.

You can configure and deploy administrative accounts in Domino® policy as a means of controlling certain settings for deployed Eclipse-based client features and plug-ins, such as server name and address. You can also configure and deploy integrated Windows™ authentication (IWA) for supplied and third-party Eclipse-based client applications, enabling SPNEGO authentication for integrated Notes application clients. See related topics for details.

For information about how to deploy a Notes standard plug-in centrally to client users with a customized Notes install kit, a custom add-on installer, or a deployment widget see the related topics.
