Setting up Domino to work with IBM HTTP Servers
If you want to use an IBM HTTP server as a reverse proxy, this topic provides information on how to install it on a different computer from the one where your Domino server resides. You can also install an IBM HTTP server module on the same computer as a Domino server if the two servers must reside on the same computer and support TLS; for more information, see the related topics.

The IBM® HTTP Server (IHS) is packaged as part of the IBM WebSphere® Application Server (WAS). For information about installing IHS and WAS, see the WebSphere installation documentation.

You can download the Web server plug-in files for WAS from the IBM software downloads - Trials and demos Web site in the related links; their use is covered by your Domino® license.

Follow the instructions, according to platform, that display on the Web site. Platforms include IBM AIX®, Linux™, and Microsoft™ Windows™.

Note: For information on the IBM i HTTP server plug-in for Domino, see the IBM Lotus® products for IBM i (i5/OS™) web site in the related links.
