Determining the file format of a database
You can check the ODS (on-disk structure) and determine the file formats of databases before compacting them.

Procedure

1. In the Domino® Administrator, select the server on which to run Compact.

2. Click the Files tab.

3. Select the folder containing the files you want to check.

4. Locate the database you want to check, and check the value in the File Format column.
