Filtering DDM events
DDM can produce a substantial amount of information for you. You can use DDM filtering to control which events are reported to DDM.

About this task

Use this procedure to create a filter, assign the filter to one or more servers and to specify event types, event classes, and severity levels to log. You can apply the filter both to enhanced and simple events, or only to simple events. When assigning a filter to a specific server, you can specify one server or you can use a wild card character to designate all servers in a particular organization. For example, enter */Sales to assign a filter to all servers in the Sales organization. New DDM filters are applied to new and existing DDM events after the Filter document is saved.

Procedure

1. From the Domino® Administrator, click the Files tab.

2. Open the Monitoring Configuration database (EVENTS4.NSF).

3. Choose DDM Configuration -> DDM Filters.

4. Click New DDM Filter.


5. Click Save and Close.
